Primary Children's Hospital

For our first donation, Cakes Helping Kids will be donating items to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah. We chose Primary Children's as our first donation so that we could give back to a hospital that has helped our family with different emergencies in the past. This hospital is Amazing, from the moment you walk through the doors you can feel the love that the employees have for the children that are treated. As you walk through the hallways it is clean, bright, colorful, filled with artwork by the patients, walls lined with wagons for patients, fish tanks, beautiful soothing live music, and I could go on and on. 

I feel blessed that our stays at Primary Children's have not been more that 3 days unlike others that I know that have stayed for weeks at a time. Each patient has an entire team of Doctors, Interns, & nurses that work on your child's specific case which is fantastic. They have crafts for patients and siblings, playrooms, all types of video game systems in the rooms, cases of movies & books. 

If you are needing a service project for a church, school, youth, community, or family project Primary Children's is always in need of Medical Play Dolls & Gowns We would like to gather 100 or more dolls for Primary Children's and will need your help to do this. The dolls are very simple to sew and can be made very inexpensively. Once made they can be delivered or mailed to the addresses above.

All the money & or items needed donated to Cakes Helping Kids will be presented at the beginning of 2014. If you are interested in donating items they can be dropped off in
